Temporary Closure Of S.R. 104 South Today
Chillicothe (Tuesday, December 20, 2016) – State Route 104 in Scioto County will be closed temporarily today, December 20, at the S.R. 852 overpass, just north of the Second Street Bridge to Portsmouth.
Crews from ODOT’s Scioto County Highway Maintenance Facility will close the southbound leg of S.R. 104 at its junction with S.R. 852 in order to clear rock and debris from the route where S.R. 852 crosses over S.R. 104.
The closure will go into effect at approximately 8:30 a.m. and remain in effect until approximately 1 p.m. today. While it is closed, motorists to Second Street in downtown Portsmouth may detour by way of S.R. 852 and the slip ramp to S.R. 73/104.
