Temporary Flagging Ops On Ohio River Road
Pavement repairs scheduled for S.R. 139, Glendale Road
Chillicothe (Monday, June 13, 2016) – Temporary restrictions will be in place Tuesday on County Road 503 (Ohio River Road) as part of the Southern Ohio Veterans Memorial Highway project in Scioto County.
On Tuesday, June 14, Ohio River Road will be subject to lane restrictions throughout the morning for crews to dig and test for an existing underground waterline.
Crews for the Portsmouth Joint Venture (PJV) will be flagging traffic between state Route 140 and C.R. 251 (Hastings Hill Road) from approximately 8 to 10 a.m.
In addition to the restrictions on Ohio River Road, S.R. 139 and C.R. 546 (Glendale Road) will reduced to one lane at their junction and traffic will be maintained by flaggers while crews conduct pavement repairs.
The repair work is scheduled to take place Wednesday through Friday, June 15-17, from approximately 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, with the routes reopened to two-traffic each evening.
