U.S. 35 Bridge Repair Project Next Week
Lane Restrictions To Be In Effect On U.S. 35 West
Chillicothe (Friday, November 15, 2013) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will restrict U.S. Route 35 West to one lane next week for a bridge repair project.
Beginning Tuesday, November 19, and continuing through Friday, November 22, U.S. 35 West will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction between Township Road 364C (Sigler Road) and T.R. 364B (Elam Road) in order for crews to repair an expansion joint on the west end of the bridge.
The project site is located at the 36.73-mile marker, just west of the Jackson County line, and crews will be working alternately in the driving and passing lanes during daytime, business hours. One lane of westbound traffic will be maintained when crews are at work; eastbound U.S. 35 should not be affected by this project.
