U.S. 35 Closed In Jackson Due To Slip
Chillicothe (Wednesday, February 10, 4:15 a.m.) - U.S. Route 35 is closed in the eastbound direction approximately six miles east of the Jackson-Ross County line due to a slip.
The route is closed between the 6.0 and 7.0-mile markers near Caves Road, west of Jackson, where a mud and rock slide has occurred.
Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Jackson County facility are working to restore the route to one lane of traffic as quickly as possible; however, traffic is currently being held.
Westbound U.S. 35 is not affected by this closure.
