Utility Work Scheduled At Pike-32 Rest Area
Services Will Be Restricted For Intermittent Periods
Chillicothe (Tuesday, June 18, 2013) – A utility repair project at the rest area on state Route 32 in Pike County will force a power outage at the facility for one morning next week.
On Monday, June 24, utility company crews will be replacing power lines and poles at the rest area, which is located near County Road 87 (Goff Road) and just east of the Adams County line. The power outage is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to noon while crews are at work; however, completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
Although there will be no electric service at the rest area, the parking lot and building will remain open to motorists.
