Utility
Work To Require Restrictions On Pike-32
Chillicothe (Tuesday, July 01, 2014) – State Route 32 in Pike County will be
restricted one day next week for utility work by American
Electric Power.
On Monday, July 7, crews from AEP will be pulling utility lines across the
highway near the route’s intersection with Township Road 309 (Dever Road). At
various intervals throughout the day, traffic will be restricted to one lane
in either direction, and the route may be subject to
periods of short-term closure.
The intermittent restrictions will be in effect at
any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and traffic will be controlled and maintained
by law enforcement personnel from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Motorists
are advised of possible short-term periods of delay, and they are reminded to
exercise additional caution in the work zone.
