Utility Work To Require Restrictions On Ross-207, 104
Chillicothe (Tuesday, December 8, 2015) – State routes 207 and 104 in Ross County will be restricted next week for utility work by American Electric Power.
Beginning Tuesday and continuing through Thursday, December 15-17, crews from Kent Power will be pulling transmission lines across the highway at the routes’ junction north of the Veterans Administration Hospital drive (Hines Boulevard) and the city of Chillicothe. At various intervals throughout the scheduled days, traffic will be restricted to one lane in either direction, and the route may be subject to periods of short-term closure.
The intermittent restrictions will be in effect at any time between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. each day, and traffic will be controlled and maintained by law enforcement personnel from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Motorists are advised of possible short-term periods of delay throughout the work week, and they are reminded to exercise additional caution in the work zone.
