Worley Mill Road Project Nearing Completion
Route Reopening Today
Chillicothe - A bridge replacement project on County Road 46 (Worley Mill Road) in Highland County is nearing completion, and the route is scheduled to reopen to traffic later today.
Working in conjunction with the Highland County Engineer’s Office, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 closed Worley Mill Road in early July to replace a structure situated over Fall Creek and located between U.S. Route 50 and state Route 138 in Paint Township.
Although crews have some minor finishing work remaining, all major construction has been completed, and the route will be open to traffic by late afternoon today, October 29.
R.B. Jergens Construction of Vandalia, Ohio, was awarded a contract in the amount of approximately $609,311 in May to complete the project, and there should be no impact to traffic throughout the remainder of construction.
