PROJECT UPDATE - September 2009

The City of Marietta in collaboration with The Ohio Department of Transportation, The Federal Highway Administration and the metropolitan organization, WWW is working to improve safety and congestion along the Pike Street Corridor.
Project Purpose and Need:
The purpose of this project is to improve the function and safety of the Pike, Acme, and Jefferson Street intersection. The project goals are to improve level of service, mitigate crashes, improve pedestrian access, and maintain functional access to local streets and businesses. This safety project will build upon the improvements that are currently being made throughout the Pike Street Corridor.
