Slip Repair Project Closes Section of SR 233
GALLIA COUNTY(Monday, September 19, 2011) – Both lanes of a section of State Route 233 will be closed starting Wednesday, September 21.
Motorists will encounter the closure around mile marker 7.44 (0.47 mi West of State Route 141) and are encouraged to use ODOT’s official detour listed below.
DGM Inc. was awarded the contract at the beginning of September in the amount of $260,325.60 for the slip project.
Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 10/12/11.
ODOT’s Official Detour: SR 141 to SR 325 to US 35 to SR 279 (Motorists will cross over into Jackson County)
