Route 124 Lane Restriction: Hockingport

Athens County - Bridge deck replacement on State Route 124 in Hockingport will begin on Thursday, March 5, 2009. The bridge is 0.31 miles North of Meigs County and spans the Hocking River. One lane will be maintained during the entire construction period from March 5, 2009 to July 1, 2009. The deck replacement will be in two phases, with the eastbound lane being closed first followed by the westbound lane. Temporary traffic signals will be in use to increase safety and traffic flow for all travelers along the bridge.
