Weekly Road Closure & Restriction Update
For the week of 9/4/2012
 
Athens County- U.S. 33-5.5
Motorists will encounter roadwork on US 33 just outside Nelsonville. Traffic will be shifted to Temporary Road 1 and there will be a 12 foot width restriction in place. Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by July 2013. Project 09-1080.
 
Athens County- S.R. 690- 1.85
A section of SR 690 will be down to one, 10 foot lane at the 2.1 mile marker. Motorists will encounter the roadwork just North of Thompson Ridge Road. Project 12-0487
 
Hocking County- S.R. 664-8.48
Motorists will encounter a one lane restriction of a section of State Route 664 in Hocking County. Roadwork will begin between Blackjack Road and Harble Griffith Road. A 10 foot width restriction will be in place. Traffic will be maintained for the duration of the project. Project 11-0067
 
Meigs County- S.R. 124-62.33
Motorists will encounter a one lane closure and 12 foot width restriction close to the Athens County line on SR 124. Traffic will be maintained with the use of traffic lights. 
 
Morgan County-TR 209-0.7
State Route 607 ( TR 209/Monastery RD) will be closed for a realignment project beginning June 20, 2012. Motorists will encounter the closure about 0.70 miles North of State Route 60 and are encouraged to use ODOT's official detour: SR 60 to SR 78. Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 10/20/12. Project 11-8030
 
Morgan County- S.R. 78-1.45
Motorists will encounter a signalized one lane restriction about 0.45 miles East of CR 22 (N Wrightstown Rd). Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 11/16/12. Project 12-6005
 
Noble County- I.R. 77-1.98
One lane of a section of IR 77 will be closed and a 10 foot width restriction will be place. Motorists will encounter the roadwork around mile marker 1.98, around County Road 15 (Ashton Hill Road). Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 11/1/12. Project: 12-0014.
 
Noble County-I.R. 77-11.19
Motorists will encounter a Northbound lane restriction on Interstate 77 around mile marker 11.19 ( SR 821 Overpass) starting 6/11/12. Traffic will be maintained for the duration of the project. Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 10/5/12. Project 12-0182
 
Noble County- S.R. 566-1.18
Motorists will encounter a closure on SR 566 about 0.03 miles West of Township Road 530 beginning 7/5/12. Motorists are encouraged to use ODOT's official detour: Leave Project Heading North SR 566 North to SR 285 South to SR 147 North to SR 566 North Leave Project Heading South SR 566 South to SR 147 South to SR 285 North to SR 566 South. Weather permitting; work is expected to be completed by 10/21/12. Project 11-0607
 
Vinton County-S.R. 324-0.0
Motorists will encounter a closure on a section of State Route 324 in Vinton County. Roadwork will begin at the junction of SR 324 and SR 160. ODOT encourages motorists to use it's official detour of SR 324-93-160-324.
 
Washington County- S.R. 7- 8.26&7.08
Motorists will encounter the closure of the Northbound and Southbound passing lanes on State Route 7 at the Braun Road intersection. Traffic will be maintained for duration of project.  Project- 11-8025
Motorists will encounter the closure of the Northbound and Southbound passing lanes on State Route 7 at the Farson Road intersection. Traffic will be maintained for duration of project.  Project-11-8025
