In April, 2011, District 11 released its construction program for the year. Approximately 78 transportation projects will be under construction across eastern Ohio this year, estimated to cost $130.5 million. Included in this year's project list are:
- 19 resurfacing/pavement repair projects (include surface treatment of approximately 150 miles of pavement)
- 20 bridge and culvert projects (includes repair and/or replacement of 23 structures)
- 5 slide repairs
- 1 major reconstruction
- 5 safety improvements
- 13 maintenance projects (includes guardrail rebuilding, pavement marking, mowing, crack sealing, cleaning/sweeping highways, herbicidal spraying, etc.)
- 15 local projects
