Ohio's Stimulus Project InformationOhio Governor Ted Strickland has announced that 149 transportation infrastructure projects have been prioritized for full or partial funding from American Recovery and Reinvestment Act resources. Ohio Green FleetDistrict 11 has been designated as a "Three Star" Ohio Green Fleet. Designation as a Three Star Ohio Green Fleet represents a considerable investment of time and resources in greening a fleet. By receiving the Three-Star Ohio Green Fleet certification from Clean Fuels Ohio earlier this year, District 11 was automatically nominated for the Government Green Fleet™ Award. In late October, District 11 was chosen as one of the top 40 Government Green Fleet™ Award winners in the country, ranking 24th nationwide. This award program recognizes peak performing fleet operations in North America. Currently in its seventh year, 100 Best Fleets identifies and encourages ever-increasing levels of performance improvement within the fleet industry. 100 Best Fleets is sponsored by Government Fleet Magazine, Invers Mobility Solutions and Tom C. District 11 encompasses a seven county region in eastern Ohio, including Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson and Tuscarawas counties. District 11 is responsible for 3,300 lane miles of roads and over 1,000 bridges. Our headquarters is located in New Philadelphia, which is in Tuscarawas County.

77/80 InterchangeThe construction of a new interchange off I-77 at CR 80 in Dover is intended to help relieve congestion at the existing I-77 interchanges in Dover and Strasburg. This interchange will provide improved access to the rapidly developing area in north Dover and better access for commercial traffic due to current truck traffic restrictions. U.S. Route 250 Reconstruction in Harrison CountyComplete replacement of existing pavement, shoulder, and 11 existing culverts from just east of the former Coultrap’s store to just west of the former Mallernee’s Market. Additionally, existing guardrail and signs will be replaced, and rock channel protection will be added at the culvert outlets. |
