State Route 7 reduced to one lane at Brilliant due to rock fall
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, January 18, 2012) – State Route 7 southbound is being reduced to one lane this afternoon at Brilliant in Jefferson County due to rock fall that began last night.
Due to continued rock fall today, ODOT officials are closing the southbound travel lane and will continue to monitor the area for a couple of days.
The southbound passing lane remains open to traffic.
The closed lane will be reopened to traffic when the movement has stopped.
Northbound lanes are not affected.
