State Route 7 northbound to be reduced to one lane Monday as part of Fort Steuben Bridge removal project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, January 18, 2012) – State Route 7 northbound will be reduced to one lane Monday, January 23rd, in Jefferson County as part of the Fort Steuben Bridge removal project.
Traffic will be redirected onto the old bridge ramps for about a month.
Officials are still anticipating one blast for the demolition of the structure in late February or early March.
ODOT’s contractor for the $2.3 million demolition project is Joseph B. Fay Company, from Russellton, Pennsylvania.
