State Route 39 reduced to one lane east of Salineville for rockfall project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, January 26, 2012) – State Route 39 is being reduced to one lane today just east of Salineville in Columbiana County for a rock excavation project.
Rockfall occurred at this site earlier this week.
One way traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.
ODOT’s contractor for this project estimated to cost $2 million is Ruhlin Company, from Sharon Center, Ohio. Officials anticipate a June 30, 2012 completion date.
