I-70 traffic may be slowed next week for utility work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, February 1, 2017) – Next Wednesday evening, February 8th, Interstate 70 traffic will be stopped intermittently – starting at 7 p.m. – in both directions at the Pogue Rd. overpass in Belmont County for utility work.
Comcast, from Bridgeport, Ohio, will be installing new aerial cable and coax over the highway.
Traffic is expected to be slowed in both directions at least two different times. Work is expected to be completed within an hour. However, motorists are urged to plan ahead to avoid delays.
