U.S. Route 40 restricted between Blaine and Lansing for landslide repair project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, February 14, 2012) – U.S. Route 40 is reduced to one lane between Blaine and Lansing in Belmont County for a landslide repair project.
Two-way traffic is being maintained with temporary traffic signals.
The completion date for this work is mid-March 2012.
ODOT’s contractor for this $450,315 project is Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Co., from Powhatan Point, Ohio. This project also included work completed last fall at another site near C.A. House Music.
