Work to begin on State Route 11 bridge project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, February 23, 2016) – Work is planned to begin next Tuesday, March 1st, to repair two pairs of bridges on State Route 11 in Columbiana County.
One set of bridges is located just south of the SR 344 Interchange, and the other pair is located about three miles north of SR 154.
SR 11 traffic will maintained – one lane in each direction – with cross-overs during construction. However, Lodge Road (TR 859) located under the set of bridges closest to SR 154 will be closed for 30 days on two separate occasions in May and mid-July.
ODOT’s contractor for this $2.8 million project is A P O’Horo Company, from Youngstown, Ohio, and the completion date is mid-October 2016.
