Roads closed in Tuscarawas and Holmes County due to high water
ODOT officials urge caution
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, February 28, 2011) – Multiple state routes in Tuscarawas and Holmes County are closed this morning due to high water.
Currently in Tuscarawas County, the following roads are closed:
In Holmes County, SR 83 is closed at County Road 245 just north of Holmesville.
SR 751 will not close today at Stonecreek for a bridge project as scheduled due to the weather. It will, however, be closed tomorrow morning.
Motorists are urged to use caution on the roadways today. High water exists on many area roads due to overflowing ditches.
