District 11 Deputy Director Appointed as
Chief Engineer for ODOT
NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO – Lloyd MacAdam,
District 11 Deputy Director was recently appointed as Assistant Director for
Policy and Chief Engineer for ODOT.
MacAdam has spent the last seven of his
21 years at ODOT as the Deputy Director for District 11. He brings a great
wealth of knowledge and leadership to the position.
Prior to his appointment as District
11’s Deputy Director in January 2011, he served the department as a Regional Projects Manager for ODOT’s Northeast
Ohio’s Real Estate Office in Akron. He also served as Production Administrator
for District 11 for over five years. Before his career at ODOT, Lloyd worked
for the city of Akron’s Bureau of Engineering, the Summit County Engineer’s
office, four different engineering design firms and was a full-time professor
at the Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus in the Engineering Technology
MacAdam graduated from the University of
Akron with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. In addition to being a
professional engineer, he has his professional surveyor’s license and was a
2008 graduate of Ohio’s Certified Public Manager Program.
He and his wife, Carol, are from New
Philadelphia, Ohio, have raised four sons, and are the proud grandparents of four
MacAdam’s move to ODOT’s headquarters in Columbus, Roxanne Kane has been
selected to serve as his replacement to lead District 11. Kane is a 32-year ODOT veteran, spending most of this time
in District 11. A licensed professional engineer, she
has served ODOT in many different capacities, including the Business
& Human Resources Administrator, Planning & Engineering Administrator, Environmental
Coordinator, LPA Coordinator, and Special Projects Engineer.
Kane graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor’s of Science
in Petroleum Engineering. She and her husband, Dan, reside in Bolivar, Ohio,
have raised four sons, and are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.
