State Route 7 traffic delays possible near Rush Run for tree cutting
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, March 8, 2012) – Traffic on State Route 7 near Rush Run in Jefferson County may face some minor delays, beginning today through next week for tree cutting.
Workers are removing trees in preparation for the $33 million landslide repair project scheduled to begin this summer. The major landslide above SR 7 occurred last March, restricting traffic to one lane in each direction.
Traffic may be stopped intermittently between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. until mid-next week.
