Pavement work to begin on Interstate 70 in Belmont County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, March 17, 2014) – Pavement rehabilitation and resurfacing work is set to begin next Monday, March 24th, on Interstate 70 in Belmont County.
Three miles of I-70 will be repaired and resurfaced from Bridgeport west. Work will include resurfacing, full depth repairs, guardrail, concrete median reconstruction, and pavement markings.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
ODOT’s contractor for this $5.9 million project is Lash Paving Inc., from Colerain, Ohio, and the completion date is October 2014.
