SR 557 will be resurfaced from the junction of SR 643 to the junction of U.S. 62, and SR 643 will be resurfaced from the Coshocton County line to the junction of SR 93.
No work will occur on Tuesdays on either route due to the weekly Farmerstown Auction.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $3.3 million project is Melway Paving Co. Inc., from Holmesville, Ohio, and the completion date is June 30, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
