U.S. Route 36 to be Restricted Near Uhrichsville for Bridge Painting
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 11 will begin work Wednesday, April 1, 2009, to paint bridges on U.S. Route 36 near Uhrichsville in Tuscarawas County.
Weather permitting, there will be a daytime, 12-foot width restriction in place between the Trenton Avenue and Water Street exits. However, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
ODOT’s contractor for this $510,501 project is APBN Inc., from Campbell, Ohio, and the completion date is June 30, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
