(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --Due to the recent rains and the increasing water levels in northern Tuscarawas County, additional roadways have been closed and/or restricted. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 11, which includes Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas counties, provides the following state road closure updates:

SR 212, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties

Closed from the intersection of SR 542 in Carroll County to the intersection of SR 800 at Zoar in Tuscarawas County.

SR 39, Carroll County

According to the current projections provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), SR 39 is expected to be closed east of Dellroy at Dellroy's elementary school. Officials continue to monitor the area.

SR 542, Carroll County

Likewise, the USACE expects SR 542 to be closed about a mile north of Dellroy and near Magnolia. Officials continue to monitor the area.

I-77 Northbound Exit Ramp at Bolivar, Tuscarawas County

The traffic signal located at the I-77 northbound exit ramp and SR 212 intersection at Bolivar is temporarily out of service. A three-way stop condition currently exists to avoid costly damages to the signal cabinet and controls due to flooding in the area. However, officials anticipate this exit ramp and SR 212 east to be closed in the future. Officials continue to monitor the area.

SR 151, Harrison County

Restricted two miles east of Bowerston near Conotton.

SR 520, Holmes County

Restricted at the intersection of U.S. 62 south of Killbuck.

SR 60, Holmes County

Restricted north and south of Killbuck in three places.

SR 643, Holmes County

Restricted just south of SR 557.

SR 93, Holmes County

Restricted about a mile north of Baltic.

U.S. 62, Holmes County

Restricted in two places between Killbuck and SR 83.

SR 258, Tuscarawas County

Closed between Stillwater and West Chester.

SR 258, Tuscarawas County

Closed at Dunlap Creek near Postboy.

SR 800, Tuscarawas County

According to the USACE, SR 800 south of Mineral City is expected to be closed, but it will remain open north of Mineral City. Officials continue to monitor the area.

No official detours are posted. All roadways will be reopened as soon as possible, but officials expect the restrictions to be in place through the weekend.
