Tuscarawas County bridges to be inspected next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, March 25, 2013) – Six bridges in Tuscarawas County will be inspected next week during daytime hours by ODOT crews and a snooper truck, weather permitting.
On Monday, April 1st, crews will inspect both the north and southbound Interstate 77 bridges over the Tuscarawas River south of U.S. Route 36 at Newcomerstown. Additionally, crews will inspect the east and westbound U.S. 250 bridges over the Tuscarawas River between the South Broadway (SR 416) and Schoenbrunn (SR 259) Exits.
On Tuesday, April 2nd, crews will inspect the SR 259 bridge over U.S. 250 near Reiser Ave. and the SR 800 (Wooster Ave.) bridge over the Tuscarawas River in Dover.
Traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations during this work.
