U.S. Route 250 traffic to be restricted for bridge project near Uhrichsville and Dennison Exits
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, March 27, 2017) – U.S. Route 250 will be restricted next Monday, April 3rd, for a bridge deck replacement project over Eastport Road (County Road 64) and Stillwater Creek in Tuscarawas County.
The structure is located on U.S. 250 east of McCauley Drive/Water Street and just west of the 2nd Street Exit.
One, 11-foot lane will be maintained in each direction.
Starting tomorrow, there may be lane closures east and westbound this week while crews complete work necessary for the future traffic control pattern.
ODOT’s contractor for this $2.8 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Columbus, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2017.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
