State Route 39 to be Restricted Later this Week for Culvert Replacement
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --State Route 39 will be restricted Thursday and Friday of this week for a culvert replacement near Southern Local High School in Columbiana County.
ODOT maintenance crews will be replacing one culvert in preparation for resurfacing work scheduled to begin in May.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
This work is expected to begin Thursday morning, April 2nd and take two days to complete.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
