Bridge repairs begin on State Route 331 over Interstate 70
SR 331 northbound to be closed for 14 days
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, March 31, 2014) – Work is getting underway this week to repair the State Route 331 bridge over Interstate 70 at Exit 213 in Belmont County.
SR 331 will be closed to northbound traffic for 14 days, beginning next Wednesday, April 9th.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 331 and U.S. Route 40, traffic will be detoured east on U.S. 40 to Exit 215 (the interchange of U.S. 40 and I-70), then rerouted onto I-70 westbound back to SR 331 at Exit 213.
Additionally, there will be some short term lane closures on I-70 at night under the bridge.
ODOT’s contractor for this $179,000 project is B & G Trucking & Construction Inc., from Akron, Ohio, and the completion date is April 30, 2014.
