Resurfacing work to begin next week in Jefferson County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, March 31, 2015) – Weather permitting, work will begin next Monday, April 6th, to resurface sections of State Routes 43, 150, and 647 in Jefferson County.
Over five miles of SR 43 will be resurfaced from Wintersville to Richmond. Just over four miles of SR 150 will be resurfaced from U.S. 250 to Mount Pleasant, and nearly two miles of SR 647 will be resurfaced from the Belmont County line to SR 150 in Mount Pleasant.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $3.16 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Rayland, Ohio, and the completion date is July 31, 2015.
