Resurfacing work to begin this week in Tuscarawas County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 4, 2011) – Resurfacing work is set to begin this week on several state routes in Tuscarawas County.
Over seven miles of SR 93 will be resurfaced from the Holmes County line to the junction of SR 516. SR 183 will be resurfaced at the junction of SR 800, and over four miles of SR 800 will be resurfaced from Mineral City's south corp. line to the Stark County line.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT's contractor for this $2.2 million project is Superior Paving & Materials Inc., from North Canton, Ohio, and the completion date is October 15, 2011.
