State Route 557 to be closed next week outside of Charm for a culvert replacement
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, April 05, 2016) – State Route 557 will be closed to traffic next Wednesday, April 13th, outside of Charm in Holmes County for a culvert replacement by ODOT’s maintenance crew.
SR 557 will be closed at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning between Township Road 355 and Township Road 123 and will be reopened to traffic by 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 15th.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 557 and SR 39, traffic will be detoured east on SR 39 to SR 93 south to SR 643 west back to SR 557, and reverse.

As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
