Over eight miles of SR 152 will be resurfaced from the junction of U.S. Route 22 to the Richmond corp. limit, including Smithfield, and over eight miles of SR 646 will be resurfaced from the Harrison County line to SR 43 near Wintersville.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.4 million project is Lash Paving Inc., from Colerain, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
