State Route 514 will be closed south of Nashville next week for a culvert replacement
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, April 7, 2010) – State Route 514 will be closed to traffic next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 13th and 14th, for a culvert replacement in Holmes County.
ODOT's maintenance crews will be replacing a culvert located just over a mile south of Nashville and about two miles north of SR 520 in preparation for upcoming resurfacing work.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 514 and SR 520, traffic will be detoured east on SR 520 to U.S. 62 east to SR 60 north to SR 39 west back to SR 514, and reverse.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
