Area bridges to be inspected next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 7, 2014) – Bridges in Belmont and Jefferson County will be inspected next week during daytime hours by an ODOT crew and a snooper truck, weather permitting.
On Monday and Tuesday, April 14th and 15th, officials will inspect the Interstate 470 bridge north of Bellaire over State Route 7, the railroad, and the Ohio River in Belmont County.
On Wednesday, April 16th, the twin bridges south of Brilliant on SR 7 over Twp. Rd. 155 and Little Rush Run in Jefferson County will be inspected. And on Thursday, April 17th, the SR 7 structure south of Brilliant over the Norfolk Southern Railroad will be inspected.
Traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations during this work.
