RESURFACING WORK BEGINS THIS WEEK ON U.S. ROUTE 36 NEAR NEWCOMERSTOWN
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --Construction work zone signs went up yesterday on U.S. Route 36 near Newcomerstown in Tuscarawas County for upcoming resurfacing.
Almost four miles of U.S. 36 will be resurfaced from the Coshocton County line to the beginning of the two lane section near Newcomerstown.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
ODOT’s contractor for this $2.7 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2008.
