State Route 517 to be closed next week for culvert replacements
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 17, 2017) – State Route 517 will be closed next Tuesday for three days just west of East Fairfield in Columbiana County for two culvert replacements.
ODOT’s maintenance crew will be replacing two pipes located between Signal Road and Raley Road.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 45/ SR 164 / SR 517, traffic will be detoured south on SR 45 to US 30 / SR 45 / SR 154, then east on US 30 / SR 45 / SR 154 to SR 154 east to SR 7 north to SR 558 west, back to SR 517 and reverse.
Work is expected to be completed on Thursday, April 27th, and the road reopened to traffic.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
