Resurfacing work to begin next week in Carroll and Columbiana Counties
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, April 18, 2012) – Resurfacing work is set to begin next week on multiple state routes in Carroll and Columbiana counties.
In Carroll County, over two miles of preventative maintenance resurfacing will take place on State Route 43 from Malvern’s north corp. line to the Stark County line and on just over five miles of State Route 542 from State Route 212 to the village of Dellroy’s west corp. line.
In Columbiana County, over two miles of SR 45 will resurfaced from about a mile south of SR 558 to just south of County Road 445 through Teegarden.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.2 million project is Superior Paving & Materials Inc., from North Canton, Ohio, and the completion date is July 31, 2012.
Additionally, work is set to begin Monday, April 23rd, on another project in Columbiana County to resurface just over seven miles of SR 172 from SR 9 to U.S. Route 30.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.4 million project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc., from Canton, Ohio, and this completion date is June 30, 2012.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers on all routes.
