Resurfacing to begin next week in Salem
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 21, 2014) – Resurfacing work is set to begin next Monday, April 28th, in the city of Salem, Columbiana County.
Work will take place on:
- State Route 9 (Mullins St.), (N. Lincoln Ave.), and (S. Ellsworth Ave.)
· SR 344 (S. Lincoln Ave.)
· And SR 14/SR 173
Work will also include sidewalks and curb ramps. Altogether, almost three miles will be resurfaced.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $719,676 project is Shelly Company, from Twinsburg, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2014.
