Resurfacing to begin next week in Salem

New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 21, 2014)Resurfacing work is set to begin next Monday, April 28th, in the city of Salem, Columbiana County.
Work will take place on:
  • State Route 9 (Mullins St.), (N. Lincoln Ave.), and (S. Ellsworth Ave.)
·         SR 344 (S. Lincoln Ave.)
·         And SR 14/SR 173
Work will also include sidewalks and curb ramps. Altogether, almost three miles will be resurfaced.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $719,676 project is Shelly Company, from Twinsburg, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2014.
