Work to begin next week on Reed Road bridge replacement over Interstate 77 near Strasburg
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, April 23, 2012) – Work will begin next Monday, April 30th, to replace the Reed Road bridge located over Interstate 77 just north of the Strasburg Exit in Tuscarawas County.
I-77 north and southbound shoulders under the structure will be restricted May 7th, but I-77 traffic will be maintained. However, rolling roadblocks will occur in August to set steel for the new bridge.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.77 million project is Keffler Bridge Company, from Canfield, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2012.
