Resurfacing work to begin next week on U.S. Route 22 around Cadiz
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, April 28, 2011) – Resurfacing work is set to begin next Monday, May 2nd, on six miles of U.S. Route 22 around the Cadiz area in Harrison County.
About 3.5 miles of U.S. 22 will be resurfaced from the four-lane section west toward Piedmont, and the two-lane section of U.S. 22 (about 2.5 miles) will be resurfaced east of Cadiz.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT's contractor for this $1.85 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, and the completion date is July 31, 2011.
