Work to begin on U.S. Route 62 culvert replacement project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, April 30, 2014) – Work is set to begin next Monday, May 5th, to replace a culvert on U.S. Route 62 two miles west of Winesburg in Holmes County.
One lane of traffic will be maintained with flaggers until Monday, June 2nd, when the roadway will be closed for 50 days – June 2 to July 21, 2014.
When the road is closed in June, traffic will be detoured on SR 515 south to SR 39 west back to U.S. 62 east, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $660,800 project is Cross Roads Construction Inc., from Cambridge, Ohio, and the completion date is September 2014.
