State Route 148 delays expected tomorrow and Friday
Blasting work postponed from last week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, May 1, 2012) – Weather permitting, traffic on State Route 148 will be stopped later this week west of Steinersville in Belmont County for blasting associated with the $4 million roadway realignment project. This blasting was originally scheduled for last week.
Traffic will be stopped tomorrow and Friday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. for 30 minutes to one hour, while ODOT’s contractor performs blasting operations.
Motorists should plan ahead to avoid delays associated with this work. No detour will be posted.
The completion date for this project is June 30, 2012.
