Interstate 70 eastbound ramps at State Route 149 in Belmont County to be closed this week as part of reconstruction work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, May 3, 2011) – The Interstate 70 eastbound on-ramp at State Route 149 (Morristown) in Belmont County will be closed to traffic tomorrow night, May 4th, beginning around 6 p.m., for milling work as part of the five-mile, $23 million major upgrade project of the interstate.
Thursday night, May 5th, the I-70 eastbound off-ramp at SR 149 will be closed for the same work.
Work is expected to take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. both nights.
ODOT's contractor for this project is Kokosing Construction Company, from Columbus, Ohio, and the completion date is mid-November 2011.
