Area roadways included in upcoming spot paving project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, May 08, 2017) – Sections of several area roadways will be included in an upcoming spot paving project set to begin next Monday, May 15th.
Various locations on State Route 800 in Belmont County will be resurfaced between the Monroe and Guernsey County lines.
Additionally, various locations will be resurfaced on SR 331 between Uniontown and just north of the Interstate 70 Interchange improvement project.
Sections of SR 799 will be resurfaced in Harrison County from SR 800 to CR 21, and sections of SR 151 in Jefferson County will be resurfaced from the Harrison County line to Smithfield.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.8 million project is Barbicas Construction Company Inc., from Akron, Ohio, and the completion date is September 30, 2017.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
