U.S. Route 36 to be restricted east of Port Washington next week for bridge replacement project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, May 09, 2013) – Beginning next Monday, May 13th, U.S. Route 36 will be restricted east of Port Washington in Tuscarawas County for a bridge project.
Two structures will be replaced less than a mile apart; however, work will only take place on one of them at a time. Two-way traffic will be maintained in one, 11-foot lane with temporary traffic signals.
ODOT’s contractor for this $701,479 project is Dennison Bridge Inc., from Dennison, Ohio. All work will be done by December.
