State Route 7 ramp at East Liverpool to be closed for bridge repairs
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, May 09, 2016) – The State Route 7 southbound/State Route 39 westbound ramp (toward Wellsville) at East Liverpool will be closed to traffic next week for bridge deck repairs by ODOT’s maintenance crews over State Route 267 (Lisbon Street).
The ramp will be closed starting Monday, May 16th until Friday, May 27th.
Beginning at the SR7 south/SR39 west ramp, traffic will be detoured on US 30 east to the downtown East Liverpool (Jackson St.) Exit back to US 30 west, and then US 30 west back to the SR7 south/SR 39 west ramp.
The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset – the transportation system. ODOT's mission is to provide the safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
