Interstate 77 northbound to be restricted tomorrow at Steele Hill Road for bridge deck repairs
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, May 13, 2010) – The Interstate 77 northbound travel lane will be closed tomorrow, May 14th, at Steele Hill Road (Township Road 329) south of New Philadelphia in Tuscarawas County for bridge deck repairs.
ODOT's maintenance crews will be making repairs between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained in the northbound passing lane. The southbound lanes will not be affected.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
